At Creation Village World School, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our Grade 11 students in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme recently completed a meaningful 10-week hospital volunteer program at AdventHealth Celebration, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a real-world healthcare setting.

Throughout the program, students immersed themselves in the day-to-day environment of a working hospital. They observed, supported, and engaged with professionals across departments, developing a deeper understanding of healthcare careers and the skills required to succeed in them. This experience allowed students to connect academic concepts with practical application while building confidence in a professional setting.

To conclude the program, students presented to hospital staff, sharing reflections on their experiences and key takeaways from their time on-site. These presentations highlighted not only what they learned, but also how the experience shaped their perspectives on service, responsibility, and future career pathways.

The day also included a professional business lunch, offering students an additional opportunity to strengthen their communication and interpersonal skills. Engaging directly with industry professionals allowed students to practice professionalism, ask thoughtful questions, and gain insight into workplace expectations.

Experiences like this are central to the IB Career-related Programme. By connecting classroom learning to real-world environments, students develop critical thinking, adaptability, and a clear sense of purpose. They are encouraged to explore career pathways while building the skills needed for success beyond graduation.

This group of students holds a special place in our school’s history as they represent the inaugural graduating Class of 2027. Their commitment to growth, service, and excellence is setting a strong foundation for future cohorts and defining what it means to be a Creation Village learner.

As we celebrate their achievements, we also look ahead. Enrollment for the Class of 2027 is now open. Families seeking a dynamic, career-connected education are invited to learn more about how the IB Career-related Programme prepares students for real-world success.
