The community at Creation Village World School recently came together for an inspiring day of service during the school’s Feed the Need initiative. Students, families, faculty, staff, and sponsors joined together to pack 10,000 meals to help address food insecurity both locally and globally.

As a leading IB private school serving Celebration, Florida and the Central Florida region, Creation Village World School places a strong emphasis on service learning and real-world impact as part of a well-rounded education. The Feed the Need event demonstrated how students can put compassion and leadership into action while working together to make a difference.

Supporting Families Locally and Globally

Through the collective efforts of the school community, 8,500 meals will be sent to families in Bangladesh, helping provide essential nutrition to communities experiencing food insecurity. An additional 1,500 meals will remain in Central Florida, supporting families in the Kissimmee community along the 192 corridor.

Events like Feed the Need highlight the power of collaboration and generosity within the Creation Village community. Students worked side by side with parents and teachers to measure ingredients, seal meal packages, and prepare shipments that will soon reach families in need.

Service Learning in an IB Education

At Creation Village World School, service initiatives are an important part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational philosophy. IB programs encourage students to develop global awareness, compassion, and a sense of responsibility toward others.

By participating in Feed the Need, students experienced firsthand how their efforts can contribute to solving real-world challenges. Service opportunities like this allow students to grow as caring, reflective individuals who understand the importance of supporting both local and global communities.

For families seeking an IB private school in Celebration Florida or the greater Central Florida area, Creation Village World School integrates academics, leadership development, and service learning to prepare students for lives of purpose and impact.

A Community Effort

The success of the Feed the Need event would not have been possible without the incredible support of the entire Creation Village community. The school extends sincere gratitude to the students, families, volunteers, faculty, staff, and sponsors who dedicated their time, energy, and generosity to make this initiative possible.

What began as a goal to pack meals became a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community works together with compassion and shared purpose.

Through their collective efforts, thousands of families will receive meals and hope, both in Central Florida and around the world.
