Help Families In Need - Double Your Donation

A message from the Celebration Foundation

To Help Families In Need

Double Your Donation

Because families are in need due to food insecurity, Kathy and Bruce Carlson, longtime Celebration residents, encourage us all to help hungry families.

Kathy and Bruce stepped up early this week with a challenge to the Foundation and asked the Foundation to match their generosity so we can double the impact of YOUR gift together. The Carlsons donated $5,000 and asked the Foundation to match for a total of $10,000! Creation Village World School was inspired by the generosity of the Carlsons and the Celebration Foundation, and offered another $5,000 to increase the total match to $15,000!

The Foundation accepted the challenge to eradicate food insecurity in Osceola County years ago, and our work is needed now more than ever. Getting food in the hands of students, seniors, and families with our Learning Without Hunger Program, our pantry at the Celebration Foundation office and food-restricted gift cards to students and other organizations has made an impact in our community and our county all year long.

How can you help?

Donate today, and up to $15,000 will be matched!

Your gift doubles.

Double Your Donation Now

Double the impact, double the food purchased, double the food restricted gift cards and double our efforts. Double the difference we make together.

How do we help residents and students of Osceola County with food insecurity?

  • As a Partner Agency of Second Harvest, our designated office food pantry operates by appointment, Mondays 10am to 2pm, at Celebration Foundation, located at 610 Sycamore Street, and distributes non-perishable food items for families in need
  • Weekend Meal Packs to 17 schools in the Osceola County School District
  • Food restricted gift cards to 3 schools in the Osceola County School District
  • Pallets of food and non-perishable items purchased through Second Harvest for (2) high school food markets in Osceola County School District

Last year, Celebration Foundation purchased and distributed almost 120,000 pounds of nonperishable food. This year, we have the opportunity to serve 2644 students weekly at Osceola County Schools. In October, Celebration Foundation supplied 7,747 students with non-perishable food items twice a week at Celebration High School. One month, one school, almost 8,000 students were hungry, and the Foundation put food in their shopping baskets, backpacks, and homes.

Because of you.

Give your gift before December 31st and double the difference we make together.

Thank you to the inspirational donations by Kathy & Bruce Carlson and Creation Village World School!
