CREATION Life
Rooted in Christ, sent to serve
CREATION Life is how our whole village lives out its faith. We gather to worship, grow in the character of Christ and go out to love our neighbours, from PreK3 to Grade 12.
Our missional life
Faith that is lived, not only learned
Jesus sends His followers into the world to make Him known. At Creation Village, that mission starts with children and young people who know they are created by God, loved by Him and called to serve.
CREATION Life brings Scripture, worship, character and service together, so faith shapes the whole school day and not just one lesson. Families of every faith background are welcome, and every student is invited to see how God's story gives purpose to their own.
Gather
The whole village meets around God's Word in chapel, House worship and daily devotions.
Grow
Eight CREATION Life principles shape mind, body and spirit, every grade, every year.
Go
Every unit ends in service, so students carry Christ's love into Celebration and beyond.
Glorify
Learning, play and work are offered as worship to the Creator of all truth.
Our 2026–27 theme
Rooted
Rooted in truth, growing in grace, strengthened in Christ, bearing fruit.
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
Colossians 2:6-7

Chapel at the Village
Every week, the village gathers to worship
Chapel is the heartbeat of CREATION Life. Students, teachers, families and guests come together to praise God, open His Word and pray for our school and our world.
Students lead much of the service themselves, and each chapel connects the week's Scripture to a learner profile virtue and to what is happening in the wider world.
All-school chapel
PreK to Grade 12 worship together, with praise, Scripture, a message and honors for character.
Middle and upper school chapel
Older students go deeper into the week's Scripture with discussion prompts and a guest or teacher feature.
Primary chapel and House worship
Younger students worship at their level while middle years students gather in their Houses.
Family chapel
Parents and grandparents join their children to worship as one village.
Students lead the way
Student chapel leaders help plan each service, and students of every age take part in:
- Praise and worship
- Scripture reading
- Opening prayer
- Call and response
- Learner profile focus
- Benediction

A whole village, one song
We began the 2026–27 school year the way we hope to live it: together, in worship. Students and teachers filled the hall as our worship team led "My Lighthouse".
Guitar, keys, drums, flute and trumpet filled the room, student voices joined the band, and the whole village stood to sing. It was a joyful reminder that God is the peace in every season our students will walk through this year.

The Rooted chapel series
One theme, many seasons
This year every chapel explores what it means to be rooted in Christ. Each service pairs a passage of Scripture with a day the world is marking, so students learn to see global events through the eyes of faith.

Guest and community features
Stories of God at work
Each chapel includes a feature: a guest, teacher, coach or student who shares how God has been faithful in their life and work.
This year students have heard from humanitarian workers serving refugee families, a ministry caring for older neighbours, local community leaders, our own teachers and coaches, and graduating seniors. These stories show students that following Jesus is a calling for every career and every stage of life.

One body, many nations
Worship that reflects God's world
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called."
Our families come from many countries. In chapel we celebrate the cultures God has woven into our village, as in our Hispanic Heritage Month service, where students shared the stories, songs and flags of their families' homelands. As an IB World School, we believe international-mindedness grows best from a heart that sees every person as made in God's image.
Growing in Christ's character
The eight CREATION Life principles
Every class works through all eight principles each year, with Scripture, discussion, a learner profile focus and a service project at the end of every unit.

Sent to serve
From chapel into the community
Worship that stays in the chapel is not the whole story. Each CREATION Life unit ends in a service project, so every student serves eight times a year, and whole-school events like meal packing turn our prayers into action.
Join us for chapel
Families touring Creation Village are welcome to see chapel and CREATION Life in action. Our admissions team responds within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
