Tuition and Step Up
What does tuition cost?
For 2026-27, tuition is $12,750 for PreK3 and PreK4, $13,000 for Kindergarten to Grade 5, $13,500 for Grades 6 to 8, $14,000 for Grades 9 and 10, and $14,500 for Grades 11 and 12.
There is also an instructional activity fee by grade (from $350 to $1,500) that covers textbooks, assessments, technology, labs, day field trips, 4-H, guest speakers and more. The full table is at creationvillage.com/tuition-fees.
What other fees are there?
An annual enrollment fee ($250 per student), a one-time new student fee ($100), and an athletic fee ($100 per sport). Uniforms, school photos, yearbook, overnight trips and extra AP or IB exams are billed separately. Optional services: lunch and snack ($1,500 a year), before-school care ($1,250), after-school care ($2,250) or both ($3,500).
Do you take Step Up For Students, and how do we pay the difference?
Yes. We accept Step Up For Students scholarships (FTC and FES) for eligible Florida families enrolled at Creation Village. Step Up For Students is a separate organization, not part of the school, and all scholarship applications are made directly with them at stepupforstudents.org. Your child must be enrolled at Creation Village before you can select our school for the scholarship in the Step Up portal.
The scholarship is paid to the school and applied to your account. Any balance it does not cover is paid on one of our three plans: one payment (July 1), two payments (July 1 and December 1) or ten monthly payments (August to May). Our team is happy to help with enrollment and walk you through tuition and payment plans.
Can we pay monthly?
Yes. Pay in one payment (July 1), two payments (July 1 and December 1) or ten monthly payments (August to May). Payment processing fees depend on the plan.

Admissions
How do we apply, and what are the next steps?
Three steps:
- Visit: a campus tour (Monday to Thursday, about an hour), or a virtual meeting if you are moving from out of town.
- Apply: once you have visited, we send you the online application. You upload report cards from this year and last and a teacher recommendation. Students entering Grades 1 to 12 also take NWEA MAP admission testing.
- Meet: an Experience Day for your child in class, and a family interview, including a meeting with the Head of Programme.
Then we share our admission decision.
Which grades can we apply for?
PreK3 through Grade 12. We review applications on a rolling basis as space allows in each grade, so it helps to start early.
Is there admission testing?
Students entering Grades 1 to 12 take NWEA MAP admission testing. PreK3 to Kindergarten applicants do not test, and every applicant has an Experience Day and a family interview.
Can we visit before applying?
Yes, and we recommend it. Campus tours run Monday to Thursday and take about an hour. Book online, or call (407) 900-7708 for a virtual meeting.
Faith and character
How are faith and CREATION Life part of school?
Christ is the foundation. Students start the day with House worship, lead chapel and prayer, take part in Bible study and serve their community.
CREATION Life is our own whole-child curriculum, built on eight principles: Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal relationships, Outlook and Nutrition (John 10:10, "life to the full"). Every class works through all eight each year, with Scripture, discussion, a service project and an IB learner profile focus, so faith and the IB speak the same language.
What are RULER and Responsive Classroom?
Responsive Classroom builds a safe, joyful community in every room: a morning meeting to start the day, rules the class agrees together, routines practiced before they are needed, and logical consequences that help children make things right.
RULER, from the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, teaches students to Recognize, Understand, Label, Express and Regulate emotions. Students use tools like the Mood Meter and our Meta-Moment (sense, pause, pray, then choose a strategy) to handle big feelings well.
Academics
What is the IB?
The International Baccalaureate is a worldwide framework for inquiry-based learning. We teach it from PreK3 to Grade 12: the Primary Years Programme (PreK3 to Grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 to 10) and the Career-related Programme with IB Diploma courses (Grades 11 and 12).
Why IB?
The IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people. Learning is built on inquiry and real-world contexts, focused on understanding big ideas rather than memorizing, and assessed against clear criteria so children know what excellent work looks like. It is recognized by universities worldwide, and the IB learner profile (caring, principled, reflective and more) fits naturally with a Christ-centered education. More at creationvillage.com/why-ib.
How big are classes?
Small, so every child is known. This year: about 20 students in each Primary Years class (two classes per grade, with a 9:1 student-teacher ratio), about 15 in Middle Years (6:1), and about 9 in the Upper School (5:1).
How does grading work?
Teachers mark work against clear IB criteria for each subject, so students and families can see exactly what was done well and what to work on next. In Grades 6 to 12, each course gets a final grade on the IB 1 to 7 scale, which becomes a letter grade and grade points on the transcript (with weighting for IB, Honors and dual enrollment courses). Students also take MAP Growth tests each fall and spring so you can see progress over time.
What about planning for the future, college and careers?
Every core Upper School course is Honors or higher, and our college counselor works with each student. In Grades 11 and 12, the IB Career-related Programme joins IB Diploma courses to a career pathway built with a university partner, with dual credit, mentors and real projects, from health sciences to engineering and aviation. Our transcript and grading are set up for college admissions, NCAA and Florida Bright Futures.
Is Creation Village accredited?
Yes. We are an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years, Middle Years and Career-related Programmes, a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme, accredited through FCIS and ACS WASC, and engaged in the CSI accreditation pathway.
Village life
What field trips do students take?
Learning goes out into the world. Day trips (covered by the activity fee) include St. Augustine, Kennedy Space Center and walking trips into Celebration. Overnight trips grow with each grade: an on-campus overnight in Grade 2, Fort Wilderness in Grade 3, Anastasia State Park in Grade 4, Camp Kulaqua in Grade 5, then HEART Village, Camp Jekyll 4-H, Washington, D.C., MarineLab in Key Largo and Camp Wahsega 4-H in middle and high school. Overnight trips are billed separately, and families sign permission forms in the Village Hub.
Do you offer sports and extracurriculars?
Yes. River Hawks athletics run from K to 2 intramurals to varsity teams in volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, golf, cross country and track, competing in the CFAA and CFCAA, plus cheer. Students also join clubs, theater productions, the arts, House competitions and service projects.
What is 4-H?
4-H is a national youth program run here with UF/IFAS Osceola County Extension. Every student from PreK3 to Grade 12 takes part: caring for our animals, growing food in our gardens and food forest, and completing projects shown at the 4-H Projects Exhibit and Fair Day. Older students go to 4-H camps on Jekyll Island and in the Georgia mountains.
What is nature-inspired learning?
Our campus is a living classroom: students care for chickens, goats, ducks and classroom animals, grow food in permaculture gardens and a food forest, and join 4-H from PreK3 to Grade 12. We are an official Guy Harvey Conservation School.
How do students serve and care for the community?
Service is part of every programme. Students take on service learning projects in each unit, join Service and Stewardship Day and Feed the Need meal packing, and care for creation on our campus. Each House leads its own stewardship projects, and older students log service hours toward the IB and Florida Bright Futures.
Daily life
What about lunch? Can we see the menu?
A lunch and snack package is available for $1,500 a year, or students bring lunch from home. Families can see the lunch menu any time in the Village Hub.
Do you offer before- and after-school care?
Yes. Before-school care is $1,250 a year, after-school care $2,250 a year, or both for $3,500 a year.
What are the school hours?
Starting in the 2027-28 school year, school runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:05 p.m. on Friday, for every grade from Preschool to High School. Campus opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m., with before- and after-school care wrapped around the school day for families who need it.
What is your phone policy?
From PreK3 to Grade 8, personal phones, smartwatches and other devices are not used on campus during the school day. In Grades 9 to 12, students may bring a phone, but it stays switched off in their backpack all day. Students in Grades 6 to 12 bring a laptop every day.
Families
How does the school communicate with families?
Everything lives in one place, the Village Hub, which works on any phone: the school calendar, announcements and posts, trip permission forms, conference booking, attendance and messages from school. Teachers share learning and grades through Toddle, and important reminders also come by email.
Will we see photos of our children and their learning?
Yes. Teachers share photos, work samples and assessments in Toddle, so you can follow your child's learning through the year, and school news and photos are posted in the Village Hub. Students also present their own learning at student-led conferences each year. If you prefer that your child not appear in photos, just tell us and we will note it.
Can parents get involved or volunteer?
Yes, and we hope you will. Through our Confluence Classroom Partnership, every family has a way to help, whether you have twenty hours or twenty minutes: reading or sharing in the classroom, Parent Ambassadors, celebrations like the Fall Harvest Festival and Global Gala, Service and Stewardship Day, and supporting 4-H projects.
