Tuition Contract

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year our tuition contracts are updating:

• Tuition contracts are completed as part of re-enrollment in Finalsite and include both tuition and the Instructional Activity Fee for the school year.
• A non-refundable $250 enrollment fee per student and $100 new student fee (if applicable) are due during the re-enrollment process.
• Each tuition contract will outline your total annual tuition and fees and provide flexible payment options—1, 2, or 10 installments.
• Any applicable scholarships will be applied beginning May 2026 and incorporated into Finalsite Billing prior to the first tuition payment.

Attendance Policy

At Creation Village World School, consistent attendance is foundational to student success and community belonging. Regular school attendance reflects our shared responsibility—between students, families, and staff—to steward the gift of education and support each learner in fulfilling their God-created identity. As an IB World School, we affirm that active engagement in daily learning fosters inquiry, reflection, and growth.

School Hours

We provide extended care for students both before school from 7:00 am to 8:00 am drop-off time and after school from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Extended care also covers times during the school year when the school has days off, but the Center is still open (see school calendar for dates). Extended care is unavailable when the Center is closed or over the summer. Sign-up as part of the re-enrollment process through Finalsite. 

CVWS has partnered with Uniform Outfitters to provide the approved school attire for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade.

Dress Uniforms

• Dress Uniforms are required for all students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
• Dress Uniforms must be worn each Friday (K-12th Grade) as well as during designated school events and special weeks (such as chapel weeks, presentations, or formal school gatherings).
• Dress Uniform components are available through Uniform Outfitters and are designed to reflect a polished and unified school appearance.

PE Uniforms

• Students (K-12th Grade) are required to wear the official River Hawk PE shirt and PE shorts as part of their uniform.

Important Guidelines

• All uniform items must be purchased from Uniform Outfitters.
• Uniforms may be ordered online or in-store, and alteration services are available if needed.
• All clothing items should be clearly labeled with your child’s name to assist with lost-and-found recovery.
• The dress standard is designed to reflect a spirit of unity, modesty, and respect, both on campus and in the broader community.
• Skirts must be of modest and appropriate length, falling below the fingertips when arms are extended, and ideally near the top of the knee. 
• Skirts may be worn with tights or leggings in approved school colors.

River Hawks in the Wild
Exploring God’s world, growing independence, and building community—one grade at a time.

River Hawks in the Wild is Creation Village World School’s nature-inspired expedition series, offering developmentally aligned outdoor learning experiences from Grade 3 through Grade 11. These trips integrate IB principles, environmental stewardship, team-building, and hands-on field studies drawn from real-world contexts. Students camp, explore, and learn in settings such as HEART Village, the Florida Keys, the Georgia mountains, and coastal research stations.

Are the trips part of the school curriculum?

Yes. Each expedition is an intentional extension of our curriculum—aligned with the IB PYP, MYP, and CP frameworks—designed to deepen inquiry, develop learner-profile attributes, and build character through experiential learning in nature.

Do students need to participate?

Yes. River Hawks in the Wild is a core part of the learning experience at CVWS.
Families may opt out only with a written request; however, there will be no alternative on-campus programming provided during the travel days.

Do students need to participate?

Overnight trips vary in cost based on transportation, location, and duration of the trip. CVWS works to maintain trip costs and the majority of our Overnight trips cost between $500 to $1,900 per trip. Specific trip information will be released at Open House. 

How are safety and supervision handled?

Safety is our highest priority. All expeditions include:

• Trained CVWS faculty chaperones
• Background-screened staff and certified guides from each hosting site
• Emergency protocols coordinated with local agencies and CVWS administration
• Age-appropriate risk assessments aligned to IB outdoor learning standards

Where do students stay overnight?

Lodging varies by grade level and location:

• 3rd Grade: Tent camping at Fort Wilderness 
• 4th Grade: Tent camping The River Ranch
• 5th Grade: Camp Kulaqua cabins
• 6th Grade: Tent camping at HEART Village
• 7th–8th Grade: Cohutta Springs cabins (odd years) or Camp Jekyll dorms (even years)

All accommodations are supervised, gender-separated, and designed for student groups.

What types of learning experiences take place on these trips?

Each expedition includes hands-on, inquiry-based learning such as:

• Ecological field studies (stream, marsh, forest, marine, wildlife)
• Sustainability and stewardship projects
• Leadership and team-building activities
• Adventure learning (zipline, canoeing, hiking, rafting, snorkeling—based on grade level)
• Cultural, historical, or mission-centered components

Content is matched to student developmental levels and IB units of inquiry.

Are meals provided?

Yes. All meals are included and accommodate dietary restrictions communicated in advance. Some trips incorporate student meal preparation as part of team challenges or sustainability learning.

What should students pack?

CVWS will provide a detailed packing list for each grade level. Common items include:

• Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear
• Water bottle
• Toiletries and personal items
• Sleeping bag (for camping trips)
• Journal or field notebook
• Individual trip packing lists are provided prior to the trip

Prohibited items include electronics, gaming devices, and any item not aligned with school expectations.

How are students grouped or supervised at night?

Students stay in gender-separated tents, cabins, or dorms under faculty supervision. Nighttime protocols include regular checks, secured boundaries, and clear rules for safety.

What is the cost, and what does it include?

Each grade-level expedition includes transportation, lodging, meals, program fees, guided activities, and instructional materials. Annual trip pricing is shared with families during re-enrollment and through Finalsite.

Can parents chaperone?

Due to the educational nature of the expeditions and the training requirements of hosting sites, parent chaperones are not typically part of these trips. CVWS uses trained faculty and site-certified staff to maintain consistency and safety.

What if my child has medical, dietary, or behavioral needs?

We ask families to communicate all needs in their enrollment and medical forms. Our team will work with you to support your child’s inclusion on the trip. In some cases, a pre-trip meeting may be required to discuss accommodations.

Student Health Requirements for Enrollment

To ensure a safe and healthy start to the school year, all families must upload the following documents to Finalsite: https://creationvillage.fsenrollment.com/ under the Summary Page by clicking on Health Records Form and then Complete. 

Physical Examination (Form DH 3040)

• Required upon a student’s initial entry into any Florida school (public or private), regardless of grade level.

• The exam must be completed within 12 months prior to enrollment.

• CVWS also requests a physical be completed every two years of enrollment. 

• Student-athletes must submit an annual sports physical. CVWS requires one (1) cleared ECG during grades 6–8 and two (2) during grades 9–12 to ensure the health and well-being of students participating in athletics throughout their academic and athletic careers.

Immunization Record (Form DH 680)

• Required for all students at initial enrollment in a Florida school.

• Must be documented using the Florida Certification of Immunization (DH 680).

• Transfers from out-of-state must submit a Florida-certified Form DH 680 issued via Florida SHOTS after importing their existing records.

• Grade-specific requirements include:

  • Kindergarten: Full immunization schedule

  • 7th Grade: Proof of Tdap booster (tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis)

CVWS follows all state immunization requirements and asks families to keep records up to date to ensure continued compliance and health safety for our community.

The Purpose of 4-H Clubs and Projects at Creation Village World School - Head, Heart, Hands, and Health Across the PYP, MYP, and CP

At Creation Village World School, students engage in hands-on, nature-based learning through our Nature Explore class in the PYP and our Eco-Life Studies class in the MYP and CP. The integration of 4-H projects in our curriculum provides students with meaningful opportunities to engage in real-world learning. Learning is rooted in purpose, inquiry, and stewardship.

Our nature program is strengthened by a partnership with Florida 4-H and the University of Florida Extension, which provides expert guidance, resources, and opportunities for meaningful, project-based learning. This collaboration ensures that students not only learn about nature and sustainability but also actively apply that knowledge through exciting, real-life experiences.

Grounded in the 4-H pledge to use our Head, Heart, Hands, and Health to serve others and better our world, students are empowered to take action, develop character, and apply their learning in practical and impactful ways.

Florida 4-H is the youth development program of the University of Florida’s (UF/IFAS) Extension. Through this partnership, 4-H delivers research-based educational programs to young people across all Florida counties, helping them develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences. Part of the national 4-H organization, which has been empowering youth for over 100 years, Florida 4-H connects local communities to a broader network of support, innovation, and tradition.

Creation Village World School Offers a variety of athletic options for our students. Sign-ups for the Athletic Programme will take place during the special Athletics Open House on August 6, 2026 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Students who participate in school athletics are charged a $100 fee for participation. This fee helps cover equipment, uniforms, officials, and program support. If your student wishes to participate, please ensure that you have the following items ready to turn in or in process by the Open House: 

• FICAA (6th to 8th Grade) - The Florida Independent Christian Athletic Association, or FICAA exist to serve the Christian schools and to provide a Christ-centered environment for equitable competition throughout the state of Florida. We hope to unite all the Christian schools and Christian school conferences under one central organization.

• FSHAA (9th to 11th Grade) - Everyone agrees that the youth of Florida deserve the best possible education. The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is committed to this ideal, and to the belief that a quality education does not begin or end in the classroom. For over a century, the FHSAA – through the cooperative efforts of its member schools – has provided opportunities for high school students in Florida to participate on a fair and equitable basis in interscholastic athletic programs that produce vital educational benefits.

The Nutritional bundle, including lunch and snacks, is $1,000 per school year. Families can sign-up for the Nutritional Bundle during enrollment or by contacting our Parent Relations Team (family@creationvillage.com) 

The menu features a wide variety of selections with fresh fruit and vegetables. Our menu is updated seasonally and can be found here starting in July 2026 as well as under School Policies and Resources in Toddle and in the classroom.

• Creation Village World School partners with Silbar Security to provide trained security officers on our campus.
• Our team is also trained utilizing the Standard Response Procedures and Measures from the I Love U Guys foundation.
• We utilize Pikmykid for visitor screening, campus access, school dismissal and reunification.  

Access to School 

• While on campus during the school day, team members and approved guests are required to clearly display a Creation Village ID badge/card on their outermost garment. 
• Family members and guests not having school-issued IDs will be checked through a sexual offender database and once cleared, will be issued a temporary ID badge. Temporary badges will expire within 24 hours of issue. 
• Exterior doors to the Zwart Center and Harrison Hall remain locked during the school day. Entry to those buildings is only through the front main entrance. Parents and visitors gain entry remotely after being screened for an ID badge by our receptionist. Parents and visitors should check in at the front desk of the Zwart Center. Pre-approval is required to gain access.  

Pikmykid

Pikmykid is the secure dismissal and school safety platform used at Creation Village World School to ensure every child is released safely and efficiently. Families receive an invitation to activate their account through the Pikmykid app, where they can manage approved pickup contacts, delegate pickups to trusted adults, announce their arrival, and receive real-time updates during dismissal. Key features include: verified guardian authorization, digital recordkeeping of daily pickups, instant notifications when changes occur, and faster carline flow through advance check-in. Together, these tools provide both peace of mind for families and a streamlined process for staff, making dismissal safer, smarter, and more convenient each day.

Prior to the start of the school year an invite will be sent to your email on file with the setup information for the Pikmykid App. 

To promote safety, responsibility, and accountability among student drivers, the school has established the following policies and procedures for parking on campus. These privileges are designed to ensure a safe and organized environment for all students, staff, and visitors. Eligible high school students may apply for an on-campus parking space. Driving to school and parking on campus is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at any time due to violations of school policies or unsafe driving behavior.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a parking space on campus, students must:

1. Hold a valid Florida driver’s license.
2. Complete the mandatory 10-hour Teen Driver Challenge through the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
3. Be in good disciplinary standing.
4. Have no outstanding school fees or fines.

Teen Driver Challenge Program

All student drivers must complete the 10-hour Teen Driver Challenge training offered by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office before registering for a parking space. This program promotes teen driver safety and covers essential topics including defensive driving and accident avoidance. Students can register for this program via the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office website: www.osceolasheriff.org

Parking Registration Process

Once the Teen Driver Challenge is completed, students must submit the following to the front office to apply for a parking permit:

• Proof of completion of the Teen Driver Challenge
• Copy of valid Florida driver’s license
• Current vehicle registration and insurance
• Completed Parking Application Form (see below)
• Payment of annual parking fee (if applicable)

Parking Permits

Upon approval, students will receive a numbered parking permit, which must be clearly displayed on the vehicle while on school property. Permits are non-transferable and apply only to the registered vehicle(s).

Student Driver Expectations

• Park only in assigned space.
• Remain parked during the school day unless permitted by administration.
• Drive safely and responsibly on and near campus.
• Avoid loud music, reckless behavior, or loitering in parking areas.

Consequences for Violations

Parking privileges may be revoked or suspended for:

• Reckless or unsafe driving
• Unauthorized use of vehicle during school hours
• Using another student's permit
• Failure to follow parking procedures
• Repeated disciplinary infractions or truancy

Technology Use at CVWS

At Creation Village World School, we are committed to a thoughtful, Christ-centered approach to technology. Rooted in our Digital Stewardship Model, we guide students to engage with technology purposefully, promoting focus, creativity, and well-being while limiting digital distractions. All student technology use is grounded in our school’s Acceptable Use Policy and guided by the principles of CREATION Life and the IB Approaches to Learning.

Preschool through 8th Grade

Mobile Devices & Smart Watches
Personal mobile phones, smartwatches, and non-school digital devices are not permitted on campus. Students are encouraged to be fully present in their learning environment and community.

Computers (Grades 3–8)
Students in grades 3–8 will have access to school-managed Chromebooks in the Digital Discovery Studio. These devices remain on campus and are configured with all necessary apps and security features. Students will learn safe digital habits and responsible technology use aligned with our IB and CREATION Life values.

All students and parents must sign the Acceptable Use Policy prior to the start of the year.

High School (Grades 9-12)

Mobile Devices & Smart Watches
To support focused learning, personal phones, smartwatches, and similar devices must remain off and stored in backpacks during school hours. Use is only permitted when explicitly authorized by a teacher for educational or health purposes.

Students needing to communicate with parents during the school day must do so through the school office. Parents may contact the front office through our App, email (family@creationvillage.com), or phone (407.900.7708) to relay time-sensitive information.

Improper device use will result in confiscation and parent retrieval. Repeated violations may result in the loss of on-campus device privileges. All students and parents must sign the Acceptable Use Policy prior to the start of the year.

Computers 
Students in High school may bring their own laptops if they meet the minimum system requirements for school platforms (Google Chrome and NWEA MAP).  Devices are used primarily at home and at specific times on campus when assigned by the teacher, otherwise computers are to remain stored in the student's backpack. 

Students must adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy, which outlines expectations for respectful, academic-focused, and faith-aligned use of technology. Classroom use of devices remains purposeful, limited, and centered in collaboration with program coordinators and the Digital Literacy teacher.

To kick off the 2026–2027 school year, CVWS will host two special Open Houses designed to welcome our families and build community.
