Eight community professionals join our Career Day

Upper school students planning together at a whiteboard

Our middle and high school students spent Career Day with eight professionals from our community, meeting them in small groups for about ten minutes at a time, asking questions, hearing about their career journeys and making connections.

A 2025 MyPerfectResume survey of 1,000 U.S. workers found that 54% were hired through a personal or professional connection. The people our students met could inspire their future, offer advice or open a door they never expected. Thank you to every guest who gave their morning to our students, including the Creation Village parents among them.

Our guests

  • Producing at Walt Disney World
  • Law enforcement with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office
  • Electrical contracting
  • IT project management
  • Photography
  • Medical product education and training
  • Small business management and consulting
  • Radiology and healthcare IT

Keep the conversation going

A few of the questions our students asked work well around the dinner table too: What inspired you to do the work you do? What classes, clubs or projects would help someone interested in your field? If you were in high school today, what would you focus on learning?
