Hatch day: new chicks join the village

Hatch day for our newest baby chicks was a highlight of the start of the year.
Our animal and nature programs turn the campus into an extension of the classroom. Students learn by observing, asking questions, caring for living things and experiencing nature firsthand, building curiosity, responsibility and compassion along the way.
These experiences are strengthened through 4-H, the youth development program built on Head, Heart, Hands and Health. Through hands-on projects in agriculture, animals, science and the environment, 4-H helps students develop practical skills, leadership and confidence, and it connects naturally with the inquiry and action at the heart of the IB.
